Eye Power

Eye Power was founded by Barry in 1997. Eye Power is a course designed specifically to improve and enhance vision through workshops and individual sessions. It focuses on eyes as a means for people to explore all aspects of vision. Eye Power improves personal self-confidence by reducing dependency on glasses or contact lenses and improves general eye health and safety. Workshops involve eye exercises to improve vision, left-right brain techniques, massage techniques, and relaxation and visualisation techniques. Emphasis is on people learning in a fun and safe way.

In 1993, Barry was unsatisfied with a new pair of multi-focals He found that they were causing headaches and considerable eyestrain. When he first questioned the strength of these new glasses, he was told that he would “get used to it”. He decided instead to visit a behavioural optometrist and also started to resist his normal practice of putting on his glasses as soon as he woke. This was later followed by a program that included eye exercises, meditation and self-healing. After six months, Barry had the need for glasses taken off his driver’s licence. Barry is now committed to continuing his own development and also to help others on their path.

Eye Power focuses on self-empowerment in terms of I (self) and Eye (sight). Eye Power offers unique workshops by exploring physical and inner vision which assists in improved eyesight and establishes a more positive, balanced lifestyle.
